August, 2010 Networking Breakfast
Members, guests and a couple of newly-joining CBNers mixed and mingled at the August 27 Networking Breakfast. Barely stopping to eat, the crowd was so enthused to be meeting prospective clients and new friends.  The next breakfast devoted totally to networking will be in November.

April, 2010 Networking Breakfast
There were many unfamiliar faces at the April Power Networking Breakfast, due to the diligence of devoted CBN-PG members who brought colleagues from as far away as Prince Frederick.

One first-timer, Bill Servais, even brought treats: Velatis Caramels, from their new store in Silver Spring. Native Washingtonians remember these confections from the former Woodward and Lothrop department store. Now they are being sold again in the DC region.

Membership Chairman Tony Laubach encouraged those present to move around and make as many contacts as possible in the time allowed. Pictured above are newcomer Julia Rivas, a Certified Long-Term Care advisor, getting to know the ropes from dedicated CBN'er Ann O'Hare of St. Matthias School.

Fr. Kyle Ingels, chaplain of the Catholic Student Center at the University of Maryland, was the grant recipient. The money will be used to assist students attend their many catechetical programs. The CSC has various other needs, Fr. Kyle said. He can be contacted here, should others wish to help. Fr. Kyle is pictured above with CBN-PG Grants Co-Chair Steve Kemp and President Sean O'Brien.
