About Us

Since its inception in 1997, the Catholic Business Network of Prince George’s County (CBN-PG) seeks to help create a dynamic presence in the business community. CBN-PG is proud to support and help sustain the good works of our Catholic elementary schools, high schools and religious education programs through the County.

In addition to monthly networking breakfast meetings, annual fundraising events including the annual Awards Celebration & Gala and our popular CBN-PG Crab Feast and other networking opportunities and events, the Catholic community in Prince George’s County has indeed been made richer by the support, stewardship, service and generosity of the Catholic Business Network.

grant

DeMatha Catholic High School is the June recipient of the CBN-PG grant.

CBN-PG award grants to a school or organization that meets the grant criteria. The grants are used for a variety of assistance, ranging from technology needs, tuition assistance, audio and library equipment and other various uses.

We are not currently accepting grant requests.

The criteria for grants are as follows:

Applicants are required to be members of our organization.**

Grant requests will be accepted for academic supplies, religious education items, student/teacher resources, tuition assistance (not for an individual, but rather for the discretionary use of the Principal/Pastor), and/or other student-centered needs. The CBN-PG Grant Review Panel has the sole discretion to decide the appropriateness of the request.

Grant requests will not be accepted for Capital Campaigns or operating expenses.

**Membership in CBN-PG is FREE to all Catholic Schools in the County. The only requirement for membership is the submission of a membership form. Religious education programs may also submit a membership form at no cost.

Grant requests will be acknowledged in writing upon receipt. Grants are reviewed on a quarterly basis and subsequently awarded. A School or organization receiving a grant at a CBN-PG Networking breakfast will be notified in advance.

If a school should experience an emergency or immediate need, the CBN-PG Board may review this request prior to the next scheduled meeting of the Grant Review Committee.
