About Us

Since its inception in 1997, the Catholic Business Network of Prince George’s County (CBN-PG) seeks to help create a dynamic presence in the business community. CBN-PG is proud to support and help sustain the good works of our Catholic elementary schools, high schools and religious education programs through the County.

In addition to monthly networking breakfast meetings, annual fundraising events including the annual Awards Celebration & Gala and our popular CBN-PG Crab Feast and other networking opportunities and events, the Catholic community in Prince George’s County has indeed been made richer by the support, stewardship, service and generosity of the Catholic Business Network.

Saint Mary of the Assumption

Burnett & Lauren Williams of CHAT’s Liquors Capital Hill

Saint Mary of the Assumption School is proud to recognize Burnett and Lauren Williams of CHAT’S Liquors Capitol Hill as recipients of the 2016 Prince Georges County Catholic Business Network (PG-CBN) business partners of the year.

They are proud members of the St. Mary of the Assumption parish and school community. Their lovely daughters Gabrielle, Camille and Danielle have attended our school for the past 3 years, and over this span they have found ways to use their business to support and develop the school that they have grown to love. Bernie and Lauren have made many contributions to the school, but none with more impact than their support of our single biggest fundraiser— our annual Mardi Gras. Their donations, auction items, beverage and basket donations provide a significant impact on our profit margin for this event. Equally important is the impact of their good nature and happy demeanor which is infectious and helps create the friendly community building atmosphere that we so greatly desire and directly impacts the overall success of this event. They have become invaluable and integral in multiple ways to the success of this major fundraiser.

In addition, Burnie and Lauren are involved in our school’s coat and food drives. They provide refreshments to our monthly Home and School Association (HSA) meetings; they are perennial room parents, field trip chaperones, and book fair volunteers. When we need material support for functions at St. Mary’s, we know we can always call upon Burnett and Lauren Williams of CHAT’S Liquors Capitol Hill.
