About Us

Since its inception in 1997, the Catholic Business Network of Prince George’s County (CBN-PG) seeks to help create a dynamic presence in the business community. CBN-PG is proud to support and help sustain the good works of our Catholic elementary schools, high schools and religious education programs through the County.

In addition to monthly networking breakfast meetings, annual fundraising events including the annual Awards Celebration & Gala and our popular CBN-PG Crab Feast and other networking opportunities and events, the Catholic community in Prince George’s County has indeed been made richer by the support, stewardship, service and generosity of the Catholic Business Network.

Father James Day, O.SS.T. from Dematha spoke on the “Year of Faith”. Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed a Year of Faith beginning October 11, 2012 and concluding on November 24, 2013. Father James explained why the focus on Faith and the things we can do during this next year. And remember if Father James asks if you were paying attention, just say “Eucharist Changes Lives”.

The Forestville Pregnancy Center received this months grant of $1,500. Mr. and Mrs. Zak were on hand to receive the grant, presented by Heather Gossart.

 

 

Our next networking breakfast is our annual Holiday meeting on December 21, 2012.

 

 

Maria Bovich, Simona Trevisan and Father De Rosa from Holy Redeemer were on hand to accept CBN’s October grant in the amount of $1,500.

Carl Jankowski from St. Joseph’s in Beltsville brought two guests Jonathan Szczepanski and Sophia West and was awarded a $250 grant from CBN.

Cindy Morgan of Morgan & Walsh Investment and Insurance was our speaker. She spoke on retirement issues. She told us that retirement is a lot like taking a trip, it requires a lot of planning. So if you haven’t begun planning for retirement you need to start planning Now!

The next networking meeting is November 16, 2012.
