About Us

Since its inception in 1997, the Catholic Business Network of Prince George’s County (CBN-PG) seeks to help create a dynamic presence in the business community. CBN-PG is proud to support and help sustain the good works of our Catholic elementary schools, high schools and religious education programs through the County.

In addition to monthly networking breakfast meetings, annual fundraising events including the annual Awards Celebration & Gala and our popular CBN-PG Crab Feast and other networking opportunities and events, the Catholic community in Prince George’s County has indeed been made richer by the support, stewardship, service and generosity of the Catholic Business Network.

Everyone had a great time at the 2012 Crab Feast in Memory of John Solari, at the Sacred Heart Council of the Knights of Columbus, 6111 Columbian Way, in Bowie.

It was a great way to remember John Solari, a remarkable friend, brother, father, Marine, CBN-PG member, and retired PGPD officer, while helping raise funds for Catholic education.

We want to thank our Sponsors, Old Line Bank and Greenbelt Marriott who donated our raffle items, The Carousel, Laubach and Regnell Financial, PNC Bank, Zancan Press and The Humes Family for being Bushel Basket Sponsors. We also had various individuals sponsor a “CRAB”. Even our caterer, The Crab Galley, donated some door prizes.

Our raffle winners were Laurie Johnson (50″ Television) and John Kincaid (Tablet”).

With everyones help, especially those who attended we raised just a little over $5,500.

We also want to thank our student volunteers from Elizabeth Seton High School, Bishop McNamara High School and St. Columba. The students helped carry crabs to the tables. Joy Williams enjoyed helping so much last year she came back again this year.
